We are always looking for community support for our program. If you have a few hours a month, please consider:

  • Teaching a life skills workshop
  • Assisting with driver's training practice hours
  • Providing tax preparation and financial planning assistance
  • Helping with career or internship opportunities
  • Providing academic tutoring
  • Support a scholar by sending a birthday card

Because of generous donations, we are able to offer our students support and useful items that they may not have. Please support Blavin Scholar students and programs by donating goods like:

  • Meals for workshops or events
  • Dry goods, snacks, or beverages for the Blavin Resource Closet
  • Business attire for job interviews
  • Welcome basket items
  • General health and wellness items
  • Housing support
  • Providing medical and dental services

You can also make a difference with a monetary donation! Thank you for supporting the Blavin Scholars mission.

“The main challenges that I ran into before I could even come to school as a transitioning foster youth was paying for just small things like bedding and the moving in necessities. I was fortunate to immediately have support from the Blavin Scholars program and volunteers.” — Blavin Scholar
