MDHHS Liaison & Blavin Support Specialist
Yoniqua Coleman – (Nikki) - she/her – M.A., has considerable work experience assisting individuals, families, and communities with various social service needs. Yoniqua holds a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Detroit Mercy, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to joining the University of Michigan, Yoniqua worked as a Child Protective Service Specialist with Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, Detroit Police Department as a civilian investigator, and the 36th District Court as a program coordinator. Yoniqua looks forward to building a strong relationship with scholars and being the support person, they can rely on to assist them with their needs.
